Additional comments
2 trees which are opposite entrance to country park, approx 10m apart, on south side of track.
1. Girth 380cm at 20cm above ground. 10 trunks with others cut off or dead. Largest girth was 110cm at 150cm. This was probably three trees from one root – bundle planted and originally part of a hedge.
2. Girth 377cm at 40cm above ground. 9 trunks largest 93cm at 150cm. Bundle planted – probably three trees – part of hedge.
Both stools are clearly very old and both trees have witches broom type growths on trunks and branches.
