These trees' story
This is an area of thorn scrub/trees which is on the crest of the Downs. There are probably over 100 trees in this area of open woodland, consisting mainly of hawthorn but with field maple and other species (oak, scots pine), on the north side. This area is used for rough grazing of cattle so many of the trees have a grazing line.
