Additional comments

Epicormic Growth at the base of the trunk has probably been grazed or rubbed by livestock. The tree is in good health and exhibits a typical crown. A remnant at the edge of the larger plantation that was reputedly clear-felled during and after the Second World War. Measurement is estimated (1.2m diameter) as fencing prevents ease of access.
