This tree's story

Situated in the main, hard standing, car park this is a disease resistant Elm that was taken as a cutting from a Elm that has survived Dutch Elm disease. It was planted in January 2012 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The tree is protected by a wooden fence and seating bench on all sides. The tree has a plaque, photo attached.
