This tree's story

To the south of the course, fairly close to the club house there are several rows of trees, mainly Silver Birch, many have a greater than 140cm circumference. Among these is a Goat (or Pussy) Willow with a wide canopy and thick short trunk.

Growing on the tree

  • Nothing

Additional comments

The Willow is strong and healthy, has a good uniform shape with lots leave and catkins. Although this tree did not meet the dimension for survey it has a large branch low down, which would take the measurement close to 257cm, so I have included it.
