This tree's story

Second of a pair of Aesculus hippocastanum – this tree is also a historic pollard at approx 3m but has more extensive re-growth, with 5 main leaders from the pollard and multiple laterals. Overall height estimated at 25m; approx 4m higher than its partner

Additional comments

Overall health is good, despite non-permeable road surfacing to the eastern side which extends to the trunk
