Additional comments
Attention grabbing grandmother that twists your ear as if to say pay attention to me. Known as ‘The Step Tree’ as at one time steps were attached to it and, according to the Game Keeper Mr Clarke, tea would be served to the family and friends whilest they sat amoungst the boughs. Holes in main branch with one partially torn and a minor branch imbedded into the ground holding the branch off the ground and another branch supported by an old and decrepit telephone pole, fallen wood, heavy deadwood, stag horns, storm damage, excessive browsing by pests esp. squirrels, wind S & N with N & NE buttresses, poaching, animal holes, nutirfication (cow, sheep, horse, rabbit).
