This tree's story

Park Gate House is an 18th century listed building set in a large formal garden, shaped originally in the 1930s and 1940s by Constance Spry, who was a famous florist and celebrity flower arranger at that time. Kent Gardens Trust surveyed the garden in 2012 to be added to the notable gardens list in Sevenoaks District. The present owners have bought an adjacent field and undertaken a massive programme of tree planting. The main garden is well stocked with some grand mature trees.
